# Referral Program

> Earn a share of what the people you invite generate - subscriptions and trading fees alike

  Every Neurobro user has a personal referral link. Share it - when someone signs up through it, you earn a share of the revenue they generate, and they get a discount on their trading fees.

## How it works

    Open [app.neurobro.ai/user/referral](https://app.neurobro.ai/user/referral). Your personal link looks like `https://app.neurobro.ai/r/<your-code>`, and you can claim a custom code instead of the generated one.

  <Step title="Share it">
    Anyone who signs up through your link is attributed to you automatically. **Attribution happens at signup only** - a referral can't be attached to an existing account afterwards.

  <Step title="Earn">
    You earn a share of what they generate, from the day they join, for as long as they keep using Neurobro.

## What you earn on

Your cut depends on where the revenue comes from:

| Revenue source                                    | Your share |

| **Subscriptions** - their Pro or Ultra payments   | 20%        |
| **Spot trading fees** - what they pay to trade    | 40%        |
| **Perps trading fees** - our builder fee on perps | 40%        |

Trading fees pay a higher rate than subscriptions because the margins differ: subscription revenue is high-margin and recurring, while trading fees are thin and volume-driven.

<Note>
  Not everything generates a commission. **Deposits, withdrawals, and buying crypto with a card don't accrue** - we charge little or nothing on those, so there's nothing to share.

Commission is calculated on **the fee we charged**, not on the size of their trade or the underlying network costs.

## What your referrals get

The people you invite get **10% off their trading fees**, permanently.

That discount applies to the Neurobro portion of the fee, not to the network gas and routing costs inside it - nobody can discount those. See [Trading Fees](/neurobro/trading-fees) for how the fee is put together.

## Getting paid

This is a request-and-approve flow, not an automatic monthly transfer.

  <Step title="Earnings accrue as held">
    Every commission is recorded as it's generated, and held for **30 days**. The hold covers refunds and chargebacks - a subscription refunded inside the window doesn't pay out.

  <Step title="They become payable">
    After the hold period, earnings move to your payable balance. You can see held, payable and paid amounts on your referral page at any time.
  </Step>

  <Step title="You request a payout">
    When your payable balance is at least **\$1**, request a payout to a connected wallet. Nothing is sent until you ask for it.
  </Step>

  <Step title="We review and approve it">
    Requests are reviewed before approval. Once approved, the payment is sent automatically - you don't need to do anything else.
  </Step>

  <Step title="It arrives">
    Payouts are sent as **USDC on Base** to your connected wallet.

Your payout wallet has to be an EVM address you've verified by signing a message, which proves you control it. Link it on your [referral page](https://app.neurobro.ai/user/referral).

## Becoming a Partner

If you're referring at volume - a community, a channel, an audience - you can apply to the **Neurobro Partner program**, which pays **50%** across every revenue source rather than the standard rates.

## Good to know

* There's no limit on how many people you can refer.
* Attribution is permanent - once someone is linked to you, they stay linked.
* Rates and thresholds can change; this page reflects the current values.
* Referral earnings are income, and how they're taxed is your responsibility.
